1. Knowledge of the competency profile to be reach;
2. Obtain the list of objectives to achieve;
3. Obtain relevant previous information to help assess the level of development of the supervised;
4. Pay attention, be aware and develop a program focused on the potentials and values of the supervised (in congruence with the values of the profession);
5. Have / construct a list of learning activities – which will enrich the learning outcomes
6. If the supervised has a different cultural background – to understand how cultural factors affect the supervisory process.
