Welcome
The School of Health of the Polytechnic of Viseu will host on June 21st and 22nd of 2019, within the scope of the Research Project – “Monitoring and Evaluation of Indicators of Mental Health of Children and Adolescents: From Research to Practice”,  I INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS QUALITY OF LIFE, CITIZENSHIP AND MENTAL HEALTH   together with the V Congress of Health Education.
The purpose of the congress, for which the research team of the project invites you to participate, is to stimulate the development of scientific knowledge, promoting sharing and reflection on challenges and practices that promote mental health, quality of life and citizenship.
The international dimension of the congress, with  publication of complete articles in indexed cientific journal, results from the partnerships built with similar institutions, with the presence of international individuals in this edition.
The scientific program is developed around six major themes:

 School and Community: Synergy Promoting Mental Health
 Citizenship and Mental Health Policies
 The Brain and Emotions: Implications in Mental Health
 Family in the Current World: Cultural Diversity, Trends and Challenges

Nesta área governativa destacamos como domínios de intervenção a promoção da igualdade entre mulheres e homens; a prevenção e combate à violência doméstica e violência contra as mulheres; o combate à discriminação em razão da orientação sexual, identidade, expressão de género e características sexuais, bem como o combate à discriminação relativamente à origem étnica, raça ou religião.
